We like to help others along the way and encourage staff to put forward charities or charity fund raising they would like us to support. Each year we choose a variety of different charities and causes to support.
Russ Walks the UK Anti-Clockwise
Orange Aero are supporting Russ Chittenden who is taking on the amazing challenge of walking the entire coastline of the UK to raise funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
Russ (who is the brother-in-law of our Inventory Manager, Laura) is a former Soldier of the British Army and is raising funds and awareness for the serving men and women, veterans and families who will call on SSAFA for help in times of need.
Since 1885, thanks to the public's support, SSAFA continues to provide welfare and wellbeing assistance tailored to our Armed Forces community. They know and understand the unique demands of service life, whether in the UK or overseas, and in times of need, they help to enable the Forces family to thrive.
Just because war ends, for some it’s never really over.
