Simon gained an Honours Degree in Aeromechanical Systems Engineering from Cranfield, with the Engineering branch of the RAF. Since then, Simon’s whole working life has been involved with commercial aircraft gas turbine engines and components.

Simon set up Orange Aero in 1994 recruiting a dynamic and loyal team around him.

He is married with two children who are both in their early twenties. He enjoys motor racing, skiing, flying, kayaking and game shooting.
